What a big brother!

Spencer is such a good big brother!  I told them to get ready for bed (which is nearly impossible by themselves without blood and tears).  I heard an electric toothbrush going, and to my surprise, I came around the corner to find this!  Our boys are supposed to brush their own teeth and then we help afterwards.  When it comes time to clean up or brush his teeth, Austin always cries and claims he can't do it by himself, which is what happened last night.  So sweet Spencer helped him get the job done.  This was so amazing, I had to take a picture!  Usually there is fighting and chaos, but last night there was peace.

Last blog for 3 months

The night of my birthday, I came home to find my boys snuggled up on the floor together.  They have separate rooms now so they talked the babysitter into letting them sleep together.  Cute boys.

Sunday at the Strokes' House

Sunday we had Cristina's family, her parents, and her brother and his wife. Apparently the guys wanted to see if they could down the whole entire cupcake in one bite: mission accomplished.

Alex, oh Alex. She was as cute as a cupcake.

Isaac.

You want me to do what??

Stuart?

32nd Birthday

For my bday, they gave me a sparkler surrounded with chocolate dipped strawberries, dipped in both dark and white chocolate, with little chocolate buttons lining the front of them. They looked just like little tuxedos.

                                           Don't get it, but whatever!

Jeron surprised me and took me to this fancy restaurant called La Caille.  It's beautiful.  The grounds are fabulous in the spring.  When you first enter the grounds, you enter through this beautiful, French-looking gate and follow a little lane through a densely wooded area.  There is water on each side of the entrance and there are always swans in the water.  It's definitely an experience.  It was a fun night.

                  Forgot to add the butter!

Christmas at the Strokes'

Beware:  Picture overload!  Christmas was great this year.  We actually had to wake our kids up - miracle!  We had a nice morning and later that afternoon, had the Leslie's (Stuart & Cristina and their 3 kids) over for dinner.

                                                                       Ridiculous!

Wish he would wake up like this every morning.

                                                      Checking out stockings.

                                                          Look at those faces.

They are so proud of their football shirts.

Jeron was so proud of his tuxedo t-shirt.

                                                   Cristina making gravy.

                                                   Austin and Alex (Cristina's)

                                                 Delicious little Isaac.

Health Update!

Blogging is not one of my strengths, I'm aware, but Jeron tells me people are asking questions about my health and that it's time to blog.  Good news - miracle news:  My vertebral artery has healed and I'm off blood thinners for good!  I can resume normal activities.  No more excuses for why I can't lift my Costco groceries or vacuum (ok, well that one never was really legit, but I tried).  Thanks for all your love, support, and prayers.  Our prayers have been answered!
