Cristina's 31st Birthday

My dear friend, Cristina, turned 31 and we celebrated her birthday at our favorite restaurant (mine & Cristina's). It is a Tepanyaki Steakhouse located in Lehi, Utah, and we are in love with their filet & shrimp. Yum!!

Cristina and her parents, Dave & Linda.

Cristina's hubby, Stuart. He tried so hard to make Cristina's
birthday special. He baked a chocolate cake that looked like the sand dunes (since
riding 4-wheelers at the sand dunes is a favorite past time) and had
a whole 4-wheeling theme for her birthday.

Cristina, looking skeptical about what could be in this box.

Here, Cristina is questioning Stuart's gift. He got her a helmet as well
as some other 4-wheeling equipment (along with a helmet she could bedazzle herself!!)

She's so dramatic....this is why we are friends.

Her two little monkeys: Issac and Alex hiding underneath a barstool.

Linda and Alex.

The coolest picture ever!...a lucky shot.

Waycross, Summer 2009

I headed back to Waycross (Jeron flew somewhere else he was needed ??), where I found our boys contently playing computer games and catching frogs on the banana plants at Gran's house. Spencer thought he died and went to heaven. There were little, cute, green tree frogs everywhere.

We all headed to my sister, Jessica's house, to visit the many cousins.

Jessica's triplets, from left to right: Lauren, Whitney, & Hannah
Does it get any cuter?

Jessica and I played tour guide to our 7 kids, taking them to a bounce house, swimming pool at the Hutcheson's, beach, you name it.

At the Hutcheson's pool:
Austin & his cousin, Kendall

As most people know, my sister, Jessica, has twins and triplets. Her little Whitney is a riot. She kept posing for the camera by throwing a hip to the side, resting her hand on it, and tilting her head. Every time she'd see me, she'd get out of the pool and pose for me. She kept us laughing. Here are a few of her poses:

And then there was this one:

The following pictures deserves an explanation. Bailey, one of the twins, needed to use the bathroom. Jessica told her to go back on the grass, behind the bush, and pull her bathing suit to the side and use the bathroom. Instead, we got this display of hilariousness:

Had to take a picture. Sorry, Bailey. You are too cute.

The rest of the cute bunch:

The trips

Me & Jessica

Another day. A new adventure. We headed to Fernandina Beach with Jessica's 5 girls, me & my 2, and Grampy. The weather was perfect. They all loved it.

A grand total of 7 kids!!

I was the protector of the seashells. This became a rather daunting task.

Grampi & girls

One brave man

One casualty of war: a bloody knee.

Kids looking for crabs

Spencer got one. He is extremely proud of himself.

That crab is looking for something to pinch!

Oreos & sand: good combo

Grampy told the kids there was another good place to find crabs.

Of course, in all the long, green, blades of grass, Spencer spotted a
tiny, green, lizard. This is Nick Adams, Jr.

On a dare, Bailey pretends to eat the bug she loves.

It's hard to drag Spencer away.

You know me a& houses. I couldn't resist this picture with the tree.

Another day: Mom, Jess, & I went to visit my cousin and her daughter who were visiting in Georgia, and we all had lunch together.

My cousin, Kelly, and her daughter, Courtney.

The three stooges.

Can you believe the size of this thing?

Austin....NO!!

In the airport. He's a good sport posing for all these pictures.
