Trip to the Timpanogos Canyon

So my brilliant idea was that since it was warm and sunny, we should take the kids (mine and my sister's oldest two girls) to Mount Timpanogos canyon. Not such a great idea -- while it was warm everywhere else, the canyon was freezing and still had snow all over the ground. After much searching, we found a spot not covered in snow and let the kids look at the stream and throw rocks in it (very shortlived!).

Baa Baa Black Sheep

I don't know who loves these little lambs more - me or the kids.  I'm going to say me.  I tried to grab one through the fence when it came close.  My nieces, Kendall and Bailey, came with us to look at the sheep with the boys.  They loved it!

So, Jeron frequently gets told that he looks like Carson Daly. What do you think?

Snow in April??

Bailey and Kendall.

I forget how fascinated I was with the snow until I lived in it. Here in Utah, we are all anxiously awaiting spring, but watching snow out the windows. My sister, Jessica came to visit with her husband, Charlie, and their oldest twins (Kendall and Bailey - age 5). It snowed on Friday and they were so excited to run through the thin layer of snow on the ground and make snow angels and snowmen. So they did both. I asked my boys if they wanted to go out and play and their reply was, "No way, it's too cold." So the girls put on the boys' pants and jackets and went out and played.
